Youth Activities Facilitator (140 E Tonto St., Phoenix, AZ 85004)

Phoenix Day is a local non-profit organization offering early childhood education, youth development, and supportive family services including assistance in accessing affordable health care community based resources.

Phoenix Day is seeking a Youth Facilitator at our Central Park facility. Under the direction of the youth program coordinator, this position will work with program management team to achieve the goals and objectives of the program and will be responsible for facilitating daily educational and recreational activities with youth between the ages of 6 and 18. The Youth Activities Facilitator is a half-time position with hours of 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Afternoon hours may vary according to the programs offered. Occasional Saturdays may be required. The hourly compensation is $10.00/hour.

Qualifications:
A high school diploma and some college required
Prior experience working in programs for at-risk youth is preferred.
Bilingual preferred.
Must possess or be able to acquire a fingerprint clearance card.
